At 17, while studying as a young artist at DbS Music in Bristol, his passion for Jungle and Drum and Bass music was undeniable. The air was always buzzing with excitement about an event brand called Rumble in the Jungle, which was the talk of the college and the city's music scene.

Driven by a desire to be part of this vibrant movement, he quickly became fixated on finding a way to get involved. Their opportunity came through a connection with an existing resident DJ at Rumble in the Jungle, which soon led to him becoming a resident DJ themselves.

Over the next four years, he immersed themselves in the world of Rumble in the Jungle, DJing and volunteering in any capacity he could, often without pay.  His dedication and talent did not go unnoticed, and eventually, he earned a paid role within the organisation.

With a First-Class Honours degree in Entrepreneurship and years of hard work proving their commitment, Jamie recognized their potential and offered them a partnership.  Since then, they have never looked back, continuing to drive Rumble in the Jungle to new heights.

In 2010, Jamie began his journey in the events industry by organising dubstep events in Falmouth, where he co-owned a Void Soundsystem with some friends. His path took a pivotal turn when he met his fiancée, Stevie, and together they founded 12:34 Productions. Their early ventures included producing live band nights, multi-genre electronic events, and art exhibitions around Falmouth. After a few years, they expanded their horizons, hosting larger community-based festivals and launching a UK hip-hop brand called The Hip Hop House Party. A hallmark of their events was always the elaborate decor, which became a signature element.

As their experience grew, Jamie and Stevie's passion for drum and bass and jungle music led to the creation of Rumble in the Jungle. This initiative was driven by a desire to provide a platform for their friends and other emerging talents in the scene. Their first Rumble in the Jungle event was a sell-out success, setting the stage for continuous growth. They consistently scaled up the brand, featuring prominent artists, custom-built decorations, and creating opportunities for smaller acts, brands, and sound systems to shine.

Jamie’s commitment to the music scene has seen Rumble in the Jungle evolve into a renowned name, programming stages and hosting takeovers at festivals and events across the county. His energy and dedication have earned the business multiple accolades over the years, including Best Jungle Club Night at the 2016 Jungle Awards and second place in the Best Event category at the 2021 Drum and Bass Awards.

A unique aspect of Jamie’s approach is the strong sense of community he fosters at his events, blending a family-like atmosphere with innovative event design. His meticulous attention to detail in decor, sound systems, and lighting ensures unforgettable experiences for attendees.

Alongside his business partner, Jack, Jamie now aspires to elevate Rumble in the Jungle to household name status within the scene. They remain driven by the same passion and determination that fueled their beginnings over a decade ago, eagerly anticipating the future and the new heights they will reach.
